Committed to Virginia Gardens
Council Member, Village of Virginia Gardens
ABOUT MICHAEL
★★★
Michael Tur is a council member for the Village of Virginia Gardens, a local business owner, and a neighbor who believes public service is a responsibility, not just a title.
With a background in management at UPS and as the owner of Midtown Towing of Miami, Michael brings practical experience in leading teams, managing budgets, and overseeing complex operations. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Supervision and Management from Miami Dade College.
Michael’s approach to public service starts with listening. Whether he’s speaking with neighbors at their doorsteps or hearing concerns at council meetings, he believes local government should be accessible, responsive, and accountable. His priorities include keeping the community safe, protecting property values, using taxpayer dollars responsibly, and making the permitting process clearer and more efficient, so residents can improve their homes with confidence about requirements and timelines.
Michael and his wife, Lorena, value the sense of community that makes Virginia Gardens special. As a council member, he’s committed to preserving that character while working with residents and village leadership to make everyday life better for the people he serves.
